Out of all the nights to not play Brodeur it had to be tonight. We can only hope we beat the Pens tomorrow and that the caps are dead tired and the Isles take them out...I'd say the chances of that happening are pretty good when you think about it. Audette coming back should boost up the team to a win tomorrow (if only for 1 game) and the Isles have enough skill to beat the Caps 'specially after some time off when the Caps played a tough game on the road and fly back right after. It's possible.

The Caps are playing much better than the Habs. Just completed a successful road trip. The schedules are about even except for our 2 games against Pitt. which are must wins for us. Prob. is that the Habs have showed that they have no easy games. I'm not hopeful at this point. The only catch might be Audette coming back and giving us some scoring. However I can't see how someone who has missed 3+ months due to a severed wrist can come back and be an immediate impact with scoring.A betting man wouldn't put any money on the Habs to advance.
