I know this has nothing to do with the Habs, but does anyone else here follow junior hockey?
I'd love to hear some opinions on the 25 game suspension handed down to Kitchener Ranger forward Mike Amodeo today. I was at the game in Guelph and I seriously doubted he'd be suspended at all.
For those that didn't see the incident, think back to Kevin Sawyer running Mike Vernon earlier this season. Amodeo simply skated by the Storm goalie and bowled him over to kick off a line brawl. It came at the end of an ugly 3rd period and the Rangers were two men short at the time. David Branch calls it "bullying" by the Rangers.
25 games though...wow, you'd think you'd have to kill someone to get 25 games.
