Have you ever seen a coach who didn't know who he had dressing for a game?? Well meet our wonderous Michel Therrien. Dressed Dackell but had named Asham in the lineup. Dackell has been sent to the dressing room for the night.
BRAVO!!!

It's unacceptable. That's not an honnest mistake, nor something that CAN happen... It's like if Gilmour went on the ice for the oppening faceoff and ooops! Forgot to put on the skates...

Number one: Why TF is Dackell scratched? Number two: Where TF is Ashram? Number three: He's already got a bench penalty for "Too Many Men". Idjit. Number four: Maybe this is a blessing in disguise. Maybe they fire him. Why TF isn't he fired now? Savard should come down during the first intermission and fire him. Let Dackell coach.
Gagh. This is the absolute LAST straw. Therrien had better be gone tomorrow.
He's a DORK. I can't say anything stronger as he wouldn't get it! Hire Pat Burns or Michel Bergeron, have them run practice tomorrow and sign him through the end of the season only but bonus the s**t out of him based on # of games and rounds in the playoffs. See how he does with a big eye on Larry for next year. Who knows, maybe one of them is better suited to be head coach with Larry as assistant.
one period at a time .. with 1 or 2 goals for in each please

That's hilarious! I love it! Right up there with Doc's "return of Therrien's 2-2-2 system." Its so sad I'm actually laughing over it. Poor Andreas Dackell...
By the way, did anybody catch what Dackell was yelling back towards the bench when he was heading towards the dressing room? I wonder if it was general "go get 'em guys" type encouragement, or if he had some choice words for Mr. Therrien?
At any rate, it looks like I jinxed poor Mr. Therrien with that "he looks like he is improving" theory. God help us if this game goes to overtime - Therrien will probably throw four (or five) defencemen out there at one time, to, you know, "protect the tie."

With the right economic system, we can have 30 healthy, competitive franchises all with affordable ticket prices. Frankly all of this is about the fans.

Yo, Mr. BadKarma,
I'm not bringing Traverse up, that would be to unkind. But, the entire known universe knows about how YOU jinxed him. Now you wrote how The Simple Man improved and the crack in his a$$ in not showing as much, well, see what you did. If they lose it's YOUR fault. I'm not saying it COULD be your fault or LOOKS like your fault. Nope.
Have you any idea what kind of voodoo I have to go through to break the spell on TSM? DO YOU? How many trances I got to go through? How many candles I gotta light? What about virgins? Do you know how hard it is finding virgins for sacrifice in this day and age? DO YOU?

I'm not too sure I follow this here. Therrien submitted an incorrect lineup and as a result the player not listed had to return to the dressing room
I have to share Doc's concern here. I've never even heard of that in the NHL before. Whether he and Carbo aren't talking, or whatever the problem is, you just don't make those kinds of errors at this level. I'd associate that mistake with House Leagues around the city.
I can just see Dackell as coach, "... THERRIEN ... you're up. Get out there and show us how it's done!" What's worse would be seeing Therrien jump over the boards with a broom ... ooops! Sorry coach.
Err, wow, I guess would suffice. Cheers.

What they said on the Panther broadcast was that Dackell was going to be sitting and that Asham was scheduled to be in the lineup. For whatever reason Asham isn't back yet so we tried to insert Dackell but we still had Asham listed on our lineup card so in fact we are going with 11 forwards and 6 d-men all game. No Asham...No Dackell...No Hossa

Poor Andreas Dackell. I wonder if he was saying something like, "I'm going to Disneyland dag-namit!"
You think you're laughing about it, my wife just came into the room to ask me what it was that was making me laugh so hard. I wonder just who organizes his suitcase?
Yes, I'm still chuckling. Cheers.

He should be fired tonight after the game. On the spot. This is the foul up to end all foul up's. Nothing he's done this season has compared to this, and he should NOT be given another chance.
The Adams Trophy. HA! The only trophy this guy should get should be driven through his forehead to see if there's anything inside there.
I'm sorry - this is unacceptable.

I'll be very anxious to see the media's take on this. They have been very leniant on Therrien up until now when most of us agree he has made some terrible decisions.
To you from failing hands we throw the torch, be yours to hold it high.
Seventeen, I am impressed with your self control in the face of this...er... provocation. Mighty fine indeed. Stellar in fact. Yes indeedee. We could have used some of that determination out on the ice tonight.
Your self restraint will, no doubt, be noted by all board members who will, no doubt, provide enough invective to fill any gap there might be due to your self imposed vow of silence.
Keep this up and you just might become known as....-da da da dum- "The Monk". Yes sir, remarkable.
Yes ideedee, the Restrained Man. I'm just wondering how many anti-flatulents he's taken? Is he in fact. taking Imodium intravenously? Will his face be able to recover from this ugly contortionist face that a man can only have by holding, keeping in, indeed squeezing back? Will this board survive, will Sheswamp Lake recover, will the country declare a national emergency?
I for one, on that dreadful day, is taking to the air, 40,000 feet up, until it's over. Lordy Lord, I pity the flora and fauna within a hundred mile radius. Well, I do!
Restrained Man, scary indeed..............

The Simple mans team is making the same mistakes in game 70 as they did in game 1 or was that 5. Too many men on the ice come on!,How many guys have come out of the penalty box after a PP only to get a break away! Lets play a defensive game and allow 40 shots agfainst every freaking game come on!My head shaking so violently I can't continue. HFTO OH ya Go Habs !

How about WTF is Odjick doing PLAYING A REGULAR SHIFT??
Are you guys serious? MT wanted to scratch Dackell? if that is case...MT should be GONE NOW!
That's called tanking a game...I am sorry, but Dackell is 4th on our team in goal scoring and he IS EXCELLENT DEFENSIVELY!

BC, Dackell was pissed. He went back to the bench, looked at the officials and didn't even look at MT...probably saying:'what a bafoon'.

Are you kidding me? Dacks was going to be a scratch? what the hell is MT doing, we are in a PLAYOFF race...we're not trying to send messages here...we need the best lineup out there!!!
I am convinced Asham was back...RDS reporter said on Monday he was back...
