About Lindsay taking costy penalties...
Lindsay took a rather stupid penalty late in the third, charging a guy that was already covered and out of the play. It resulted in a PP goal for Tampa that gave them the lead... It could have been the game right there.
The guy took 19 minutes of penalty last night. Lots of grit and hustle, spectacular hitting machine but he'll have to play with more disciplin to be effective.

Lindsay's just a fringe player. If he contains himself he could be effective.
I'm waiting for him to be all over Berezin

The amazing thing is, what was he doing on the ice with 6 minutes to go?
You need to cut your bench when you are in a close game like the one last night....

When the Sharks acquired Lindsay from the Flames his first few games most of his ice time was in the Penalty Box. He finally calmed down but he didn't do anything much after that. He still took more penalties than he should. It's been a while for him now since he was in SJ, so maybe if he calms down then he might do a little better for the Habs than he did for the Sharks. I hope for the Habs sake he does.
