... it's hard to know exactly what les boys are thinking from time to time. Nice to see we weren't going to be pushed around, but getting out-shot by a 2 to 1 margine through the first two periods made it an extremely frustrating game for me to watch. Tampa Bay out-hustled us for most of the game. They were one step ahead all night.
It's good to see that the "money-will-solve-everything-Rangers" go down 5-2 to the Thrashers. But, that should be even more of an incentive for the Habs to go into Nashville with an edge tomorrow night.
Moreover, look what happened tonight in Tampa. I think the "high-and-mighty-Habs" took them way too lightly. Hopefully not the same game plan tomorrow. Cheers.

I agree, it's frustrating seeing this team getting outshot 2-1 by a weaker opponent.
Tomorrow,we have no excuse. The Preds are in a terrible slump, they are struggling in all facets,we have to win.

Tell me something Marc. Were is the logic for putting Robidas on the 4th line. Do we not have any prospects that could adequately fill that void? Did Robidas play well? Yes, he did I thought. If I remember correctly he hit a goalpost in the 2nd period, but that's not the point. I'm not an NHL qualified coach. But, wasn't there someone who could have filled that spot. Sometimes I just don't get it. I'm rather apprehensive to see what game les gars bring to the rink tomorrow. It's frustrating because I don't get basically one game a week here in Kingston. And recently the effort I've seen in those games have discouraged me quite a bit. They simply have to be a better team. Hopefully they won't figure, "Disgruntled is watching ... go into park ..." We'll take the point because of my Hart Trophy Nominee, José Théodore. If it weren't for him we wouldn't be anywhere right now. Good to see Killer is the man with the grit. Too bad he has to do it alone most nights. Cheers.

I understand my favourite guy, Quintal, booted another goal into his own net tonight. I say 'another', because it seems to me he has a very bad habit of doing so. Has anyone else noticed this? It occasionally happens to PB as well, but Quintal's the champ. Usually off his ankle or knee, sometimes his skate. Why couldn't it be his head?
Ok, I didn't see the game, but I'm clairvoyant, so that's why I knew before the game started that we'd be badly outshot. What a seer. That's like saying "I predict the sun will rise tomorrow."
What a quandary. I want us to badly make the playoffs because...well, who needs a reason. Unfortunately, if we do, the Montreal media will bleat that MT is the second coming of Christ, Buddha, Mohammed and Elvis. That would be Theo, not MT. I don't wish MT any harm....I just wish he'd go coach the Mississauga Ice Dogs...or the Johnstown Jets.
One last point before I go away to sulk....take a step back and consider...we're overjoyed at getting a point, with a last minute goal, against Tampa Bay. Yeah, it's a point, but how can we feel good about it?

We just can't take Nashville lightly tomorrow night. If we learned anything at all tonight it would have to be, get the jump early and keep going for 60 minutes. José will not stop everything for the rest of our collective hockey lives.
Heck, all they have to do is look at what happened to the Rangers tonight. 5-2 loss to Atlanta. And that's a team with the money.
Something tells me les boys will bring a better game to the rink tomorrow. Cheers.

How can we be happy about the point?
Because we needed it, perhaps?
Because in spite of all the talk about it being two points they "should" have, the Bolts have been playing awfully well and have one of the top puckstoppers in the game?
Because three out of four points so far, with Nashville coming up, is nothing to fret about, no matter how desperate things were with 10 seconds left.
And because we needed the point.

Relax...Nashville just lost their leaders(Ronning and Fitzgerald) they are playing kids, they are playing terrible hockey and have basically packed it in.We just need to show up.

That's probably what the players were thinking prior to their game with the Bolts. If they make the same mistake tomorrow ... well, it's hard to say what will happen. Cheers.

It's true a win for the Habs right now is better than a tie, but a tie is better than a loss. I want the Habs in the Playoffs. I don't want the Rangers in the Playoffs, so every point the Habs get is a good point, at least IMO. I hope the Rangers continue to lose and I hope the Habs beat the Preds.

Robidas was used in a pinch. Berezin sat out because of discipline reasons. Left us two men short in the forward position

Well, I for one am very happy with the point especially since the Rangers lost and Buffalo plays the Leafs tonight. But I'm happy for this reason too. Les Boys showed some character tonight. They came back (twice) and didn't give up. This is something they had been doing just a month ago. This can only build confidence going into the game against Nashville and their upcoming homestand. These games againt weaker opponets are a must because those last 6 games are going to be extremely tough. And at times like these Theo knows he's the Man. He knows what each night will be like and the rest of the team knows too. Ah, it's going to be fun!

When was the last time a Habs team fell behind, tied the game ,gave up a goal with 4 mins to go and came back to tie it with 7 ticks left on the clock?
