Hey guys got in late last night just in time to review the game tape and file the game report.I noticed Bulis was not playing and the Fox telecast made no mention of why.Was he merely benched for missing the empty net and umpteen other chances against Carolina Monday. If so is MT telling him he has to bear down especially this time of year and hopefully in the playoffs? Hard to argue with any of the forwards with maybe last night.Though Berezin has to play better by getting himself in better position.everyone knows he's gonna shoot the puck and the few chances he has had recently have been from well out,and he certainly telegraphs his shot.I think berezin could use some pine time at least Bulis put himself in postion to score on Monday berezin isn't cutting it right now. Healthy scratch... no reason given.
I would bet it has more to do with his unimpressive play recently than his missing of that empty netter.
Yes, put Berezin in the pressbox..please.

thanks for the link. hmmm...bulis not tough enough to face those mean panthers. encouraging to hear the coach have good things to say about asham's recent play. i like the thought of lindsay-gratton-asham as a 4th line next year. savard and therrien both see pretty much what we all have seen with berezin lately, that is, not much.

I would love to get a Laraque or a Worrell for our 4th line, but a Lindsay-Gratton-Asham trio would be just fine, thank you.
ESPECIALLY, if they can play the kind of pest like game they all have the reputation of playing.
Hmm...
Hossa-Koivu-Audette Zed-Gilmour or Perreault-Petrov Bulis-Juneau-Dackell Lindsay-Gratton-Asham
4 solid lines...Kilger would be the 13th forward...

I`d rather see Kilger in the lineup regularly than not, rather than Gratton, for two reasons:
-we`ll need someone to replace Juneau in the not too distant future and he might be a good cadidate and
-we need someone with his size. Outside of Hossa, he`s the only guy with bigger than average size in that line up. This also fits with the first point as if he could become a good checking centre to cover the opposition`s top line, which in the Eastern conference often has a big centre, that would be ideal.
I like the idea of Hossa playing on a line with Koivu. Big kid to dig the pick out of the corners, park in front of the net, yet with some skill goal scoring wise. Also should do a lot to help Hossa`s development.
Unless Berezin shows a lot more immediately it wouldn`t be surprising to see him unsigned by the Habs this summer.

Agree on Kilger, a solid hitter with good speed that can play all 3 forward positions, he's a nice commodity.
Hossa, funny how people keep saying he's big and phycial... His size is nothing extraordinary (Rucinsky, Savage type of built) and he did not strike me as a physical guy at all. I like him and I want him to succeed, he has good speed, a good shot and good passes, but I don't see him bring a power forward type of game; dominant in the corners and unmovable in front of the net. I'll need to see more of him...

Back to Kilger,we will have some injuries, so he will play...
