Saturday nights game between the Habs and Nashville will be broadcast on CBC English. I just saw an ad for it on my local CBC affiliate station. Before the season, it was revealed that the CBC was doing no Hab games other than the ones we see against T.O. and one in Calgary. I guess the Habs quest for the playoffs has turned around some people at the CBC and changing the Molson Centre to the Bell Centre will help in future. I do believe there was a problem because the Habs are partly owned by Molson and play at the Molson Centre as HNIC is sponsored now by Labatt. Its hard to know how much of an affect it had on the decision to broadcast no Hab games. I think the game will only be shown in Quebec and certain parts of Ontario.

Hockey Nite in Canada without Molson's, Imperial Oil, and Murray Westgate. Worst of all sponsored by Labatt's. Hab's are no longer Canada's team. How times change..............

I'm very suprised about this, Mike. The Leafs have a 7-PM game against Buffalo in "the-centre-of-the-universe" no less. A rivalry like that normally means something big to CBC, as Sabres/Leaf games are pretty well contested. Still it's about time they decided to show an early Hab's game. Great news and thanks, Mike. Cheers.
