which validates 1 of my previous posts about the last game of the season being huge. But like I said in that post, we need to remain in the race long enough for that game to matter.

You mean that game at the Molson center against the Sabres in April?

is that what it's called? Molson Center? hehe yeah, that's the game I mean...it's setting up to be a huge game for us. Sabers have 1 more win than we do this season (damn overtimes are killing us!!! at least last night Therrien finally had 3 forwards and 1 defenceman) so as it stands right now we need WINS not points. The points will come with the wins. Gotta put some space between us the Sabers while we have the chance...Stu is hurt and we have a pretty easy schedule on paper...time to open it up.

Yes, that was great to see.Maybe Therrien heard all the callers complaining on CKAC last Thursday night... We need AT LEAST 5 out of 6 points in the next 3 games...

I didn't see the game, but I did see the highlights of it on ESPN 2's NHL 2 Night. Every season I root for the Rangers to miss the Playoffs, or if they make it to be swept in Round 1. Likewise, last night's game. The Rangers are always going out and paying too much for players so they can make the Cup Run. I love it when they fail. I was hoping the Canucks would win last night. I was very happy they did. I sure hope things continue to look up for the Habs. I really would love to see your team in the Playoffs again, at least for Round 1.

Everyone hates the Rangers...they hate them even more since they got Bure. The worst thing about it is, the Rangers will miss the playoffs, yet they will go after Amonte, Guerin, Kaspar, Holik and co in the off-season, sign 1 or 2 of them and they will still suck. The just don't have any clue on how to build a franchise.Look at Detroit, their core guys are all homegrown(Yzerman, Fedorov, Lidstrom, etc) or were acquired for homegrown talent(Shany for Primeau, Hasek for Kozlov, Chelios for Eriksson) and what they do is they use the UFA market to surround that great core.Robitaille, Hull,etc...and they NEVER trade a great young kid. They haven't traded Jiri Fischer, they will not trade Datsyuk, I am sure Henrik Zetterberg will become an untouchable, too. The Rangers keep changing their core players(only Leetch and Richter have remained), they sign UFA's to be core guys and not supporters and they trade all their draftees(there is only 1 regular in the WHOLE Rangers lineup who has been drafted and developed by the Rangers since 1990...Tomas Kloucek and he will probably be in the pressbox down the stretch while Dave Karpa plays...ok, I didn't mention Blackburn, but he ain't a regular)...they just traded York, they traded Maholtra, Brendl, Jonnson...anyone want to bet Lundmark will be traded? And you know what? the whole league couldn't be happier. ;D
