Dave just scored for the lightning on the PP...he maybe over the hill or getting there quick but the man can still produce on the PP...and with Audette coming back it'd be nice to have them on 2 seperate PP units. Could give us 1 hell of a boost...something to think about.

Our PP isn't that bad, but for a low pick, a marginal prospect or one of our spare-part D, why not...
By the way, Stu Barnes left the game against the Bolts with a concussion... No words yet regarding the severity of the concussion (grade 1, 2 3). Too bad for him, but can't help to think it's just fair to see other teams losing key players, makes the fight more equal...

Yeah, I'd do that. 6th or 7th round pick, or one of Traverse, Robidas or Bouillon, or Descoteaux or something. If Tampa wants to give him away, why not? As long as Dave knows he is going to be a powerplay, 4th line, veteran dressing room kind of guy, what have we got to lose? A 4th line of Andreychuk, Koivu, Audette? Works for me.

that might be a 4th line for ice time but you know the media in Montreal there will be 'new 1st line' headlines all over the place, hehe.

Hossa is gonna get sent down anyway as soon as Audette comes back...there's no room for him in the lineup once Audette is back. There will also need to be some line juggling once Koivu comes back. It will sad to see Hossa back in Quebec but what other choice do you have? Audette is a much more valuable asset at this point of the season. I agree that our PP isn't that bad, some nights we score 2 or 3 others we score none. Dave can really help in tha area...since we can't seem the hold leads worth a damn we might as well try to score as much as we can and what better time to score than on the PP...I've noticed that we're very dangerous when we set up offensivly on the PP but we can't seem to get the puck in other teams' zone and hold onto it. Dumping almost never works and staking in only works when Petrov does it...we need some serious work in that department. All that aside Dave can score goals, we can use him big time.

I heard this during the weekend:the reason why the Andreychuk rumors are dying down is because the Bolts would love to keep him(still productive, great leader on young team, cheap) and they are asking alot in a trade...

And they send Hossa to Qc No NO That is what I fear.Instead of releasing a Van Allen or an Odjick, they would send down one of the few players on our team who have both VERY GOOD SKILL AND SIZE.

It's certainly not a 'given' Audette will be more productive down the stretch than Hossa...
