We shall see if this is the boring, slow, trap filled game it has all the makings to be

habs win -1 to -2. narcoleptic condition prevalent in on-ice officials this nhl season infects both teams. game takes 4 hours to complete. everyone gets a good night's rest.

Hab's lose. Stars are playing patient, effective hockey. They're getting it done. Habs are not. Remember the Stars want this one as bad as we do and they're the better team top to bottom. 3-1 Stars. Pressure on Therrien and Savard goes up a notch.

12-1 Habs lose. Therrien goes nuts and starts himself in net. Dallas defence smothers Montreal, allowing only one shot (which goes past Eddie, who is yelling at some fan). Therrien faces 12 Dallas shots and lets 12 of them go by. The only reason the stars don't get any more goals is not because of the smothering Montreal defence, but because they're too busy laughing their asses off at Dame Edna, who has been named the teams head coach while MT plays in net.
MT is found dead in his hotel room the next day. My fingerprints are all over the crime scene.

Can't see the Habs winning the way they have been playing unless Theodore pots a hat trick and the Habs win 3-2. If they do want to stay alive they are going to some how get 3 points against Dallas and the back to backs with Carolina.Certainly a tall order. HFTO

We have to be optimist
Habs win in OT 4 - 3
Goal by Hossa
Hossa to play with Berezin and Perreault
Turgeon won't play flight back to Dallas...shoulder injured
Montgomery(you remember) call from Utah to replace him

With Theo standing on his head, any game is within reach.
I think they'll win this one. HABS 4 Stars 2

Good news:Hossa playing with the ugly Leaf duo, hopefully this gets them fired up.
Belfour also playing, again good news, Stars play better in front of Turco and Turgeon is back in Big D.
Bad news:Habs are playing a big team and the Stars have more talent than us.
We will need a Theo miracle.

This game has me so 'excited' I think I will watch Ottawa-Edmonton or Toronto-Boston instead.
Sorry, but the perspective of seeing, 2 slow, defensive minded, old teams face off against each other doesn't intrigue me at all.And it's on TQS to boot.

WHAT A PLAY AND PASS BY HOSSA ON THE PERREAULT GOAL! 1-1 with 5 minutes to go in the 1st.First few minutes were ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ all the way, the game has been better for about 3 minutes. Modano is flying out there and has the Stars only goal.Theodore just made a couple of great saves.

Man did Hatcher try to hammer Hossa or what?
1st period over.
Habs need to attack more...they were better once they fell behind.I can't believe I am saying this, but it's like I am 'hoping' the other team scores first so we can actually see the Habs attack and not sit back.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGH!
Another 2 goal lead blown. We must be on the verge of setting a record for how many 2 goal leads blown in one year.
What's up with Theo? what a bad goal to Lehtinen and the Lukowich goal was stoppable. We just need to re-group.

3-3 final.
Man, I hate ties.It just doesn't decided anything.
Great job of PKing in the OT and late in the 3rd.
Sakufan was right, we should go for it in OT.Tonight, we were a little better(Dallas really went for it) but still not aggresive enough.Go, with 3 forwards.

Outshot 2-1 again. Sorry guys, I won't listen to any arguments about quality vs quantity. You can't be outshot 2-1 as consistently as we are unless you're being outquality'd by a reasonable margin too. Theo must think he's going to be reincarnated as a Goodyear tire.

And the worst thing about it is, Theo blamed himself for losing a point! thank god the kid has loads of confidence and character.
