What a story it would be.

Not to be negative but if the Habs don't start playing better on the road we can forget about the playoffs. With Buffalo and Washington playing better, the playoffs are starting to look like an up hill battle. By the way the Habs are being outshot 26-9 to the Rangers (without Lindros) with about 6 minutes to go in the second.

I agree the playoffs are starting to slip away. We need a trade over the next 7 days to improve our chances. Or else it doesn't matter if Koivu and Audette can come back to help us this year

Right now, with the way we are playing, the big games we are losing and the coaching we have, even adding a guy like Andreychuk won't change much IMO.
I just hope if we do make a trade like that we give up a useless asset(Traverse kinda of player) and not a draft pick.

Would you make a Frank Mahovlich type deal? That is deal away two or three good prospects for an established NHL star?
It's a bit of a catch 22 situation

Personally, I would love to see the Habs in the Playoffs. As with the past 2 seasons, I am again rooting for Montreal to make it. That would be so cool if they did. I sure as heck don't want the Sabres or Rangers in the Playoffs. I would rather have the Habs in the Playoffs than even the Caps.
Then if Koivu was back that would be great. I got Koivu's autograph after the Sharks and Habs game in Montreal. ;D Maybe I shouldn't like him or the Habs but I do.
