YES!!! 5-1 Hawks win.
We can beat this Ranger team. They are very overated. We just need to win every game we can and not blow points and we should be able to beat them out for the 8th spot.

Well MPL you said a mouthful. I'm not impressed by the Rangers either, especially since Richter appears somewhat shell shocked after losing the last game in the Oylmpics. Odd that. But "just winning every game we can and not blowing points" has, er, not exactly been our forte this season.
Add to that the fact that Jagr and the Caps (who are 3 back with the Habs having a game in hand) appear to have awoken from their coma and Buffalo (who also won tonight, are 6 back with a game in hand) who are hanging around just close enough to make a run and this isn't going to be easy, especially with no solid experiened goalie to give Theo a blow now and then.
Actually I'm more worried about the Caps right now than the Rangers.

As for Richter, Blackburn started last night...hmm, could this be a message?
