Funny what 10 years will do to ya. Back when both the Flames and Canadiens were the top teams I did not like the Canadiens at all. Our two teams had some great battles. But over the years I started to like the Canadiens more and more. In fact you could say that the Habs are my second favorite team, behind my Flames of course. I would love nothing more then to see both our teams in the playoffs! We held our end of the bargain tonight beating the NYR. So keep that in mind when the Habs play teams that the Flames are chasing. Anyways, good luck with the rest of the season. You are a far better team then New York and the playoff spot is yours for the taking! (just noticed the Habs scored took the lead late in the 3rd, sweet!)

Hi flamesfan, welcome to the board. Can't say I am a big Flames fan (that '89 Stanley Cup win of yours at the Forum still rankles - only opposing team to ever win the Stanley Cup on Forum ice) but I am a fan of every Canadian team. Well, maybe not the Leafs. But they aren't really Canadian anyways, now are they? Great win by the Flames tonight, and much appreciated, let me tell you. Gotta say though, if Montreal keeps playing the way they played tonight, they'll be golfing pretty early again this year. They were extremely lucky to get the win tonight, and only some lazy powerplay work by the Thrashers allowed them to get the victory. We were very lucky. Still, they don't ask how, they ask how many, right? Two points is two points...

Hey can we borrow your defencemen for like 20 games, and a couple playoff rounds?
Ok, I'm being greedy...we'll just take Gauthier, Morris, and Regehr off your hands for Traverse, Souray AND two smurfs (Bouillion & Robidas) just because you're a Canadian franchise.

Personally, I would take Reghr. Most defensemen take 4/5/6/ years to develop and I feel this is no exception for Reghr. He showed flashes in his first full year.
I wonder what we would have to give for Reghr? Maybe, Hackett for Antropov with Antropov going to Calgary for Reghr?

Antropov has a torn MCL or ACL and is done for the year.I think he has little value.Second major knee injury. I would also take Regehr.21 year old, hard hitting d-man are tough to find.

Thank you flamesfan, and welcome to our little corner in the world. Feel free to pop in whenever you like. We're a pretty sombre fellowship here (ya gotta watch out for that BadCompany guy...don't believe his "and my lingerie is machine-washable, unlike those other inferior companies offer" sales pitch. It just ain't so. I tell everyone to pass. He's a nice-enough guy though. Quirky, but nice.) Looking forward to reading more from you, CO
