I am not in the ones that think Hackett will be trade by March 19 but I beleve he will be gone by June...
My take is that IF by March we trade him there's is not to many destination...my fist stop will be Chicago...my surprise stop

Why....So many teams need insurance policy for the playoff and their Eddy "vancouver locker room " is out as a "plaster" somewhere between Toronto or Phily or even buy out...he is now personna non gratta in Dallas land
For a while the stars are rumoured to be talking Nieuwendyk to Ottawa or is it a whish dream from Ott writers...
Nieuwendyk would be the exact kind of fix we need...
Other than those 2 team I could see someting with Anahein but not major

No way those Big D want Hackett.Turco rocks and will be their #1 goalie for a very long time.

Anyways,last night showed we need to deal Hackett ASAP to get a big center or a big d-man ASAP!!! We can't think 'IF Theo gets injured' we need help in other areas.BIG TIME help.

wright,Turco is their future but he only has 47 games of experience in NHL,Hackett could be a better tutor than Belfour

Turco won again today and was very strong.He is 26 years old.I doubt he needs a tutor.


But,if he does...hmm,maybe Jamie Langenbrunner could be had?? I think this guy needs a change of scenery ASAP.

While Langenbrunner may need a change he is not what the Habs need.

I agree that we should not think what if Theo gets hurt as i wouldn't mind seeing the goalies in Que. But I really hope they get something in return for Hack as the other team will do well with him and we don't have alot of other assets that will bring a good return.

Actually,Langenbrunner could be what we need.He is a forward with size!!!
