...mockingly,
..."not only does he back up on the play, but he HAS his BACK to the play!?"
Bahahaha hah hahaha hahaha....it may seem like I'm laughing, but in reality I'm crying on the inside.
How embarrassing.

They still beat TQS's slumberfest though. It's not the broadcast I was commenting on...it's the mocking of Brisebois. For a 12 yr veteran of defense to be mocked like that is an embarassment. He looks BAAAAD tonight. CO

Brisebois forced himself to be back for this game, and was clearly playing hurt. He had a bad game, but I think he shouldn't be mocked for his bad game... he's hurting to try and help the team. Say what you will about his play, but his heart is very much in the right place !!

Greg Millen is right up there with Pierre McGuire as one of the most annoying hockey personalities on TV. They both have the same smug demeanor, coming accross as though they know everything - when half the stuff they spout out is total BS.

With all due respect mon ami Paul...heart alone (if that's how you want to describe Patrice Brisebois and his playing/decision-making over his stellar 12...yup TWELVE year career...that's another post) is NOT what we want from the soon-to-be 4 MILLION DOLLAR MAN. With the kind of records this team has been setting YEAR AFTER YEAR for both freakish and "hurry-up and get back into the line-up" type injuries, you'd THINK that the idiot known as Brisebois would AT LEAST not be stupid enough to repeat the irresponsible and reckless act of insering himself into the lineup at less than 100%. I suppose it's consistant with the way his decision-making process operates. Weak, lazy and without much logic. Unless of course he WAS good to go and re-injured himself after he got lost, turned around, and fell to the ice untouched. Nah...he's an idiot. Can ya tell I'm not too fond of the guy? What also does this say of the medical and coaching staff....geeesh....will the events of the past 3 seasons EVER teach these guys!!?? Message to the injured: STAY HOME! Frustrated, CO

Can ya tell I'm not too fond of the guy? Yup, sure can tell :-) I think you should see Breezer as a guy who's being asked to do too much, that's all. And in this case, given how the team is overall, not having our top defenseman hurts a lot, so he wanted to be back ASAP. He makes his decisions as if Therrien were competent, and the guy to get scratched would be Traverse. Arrg. What was Traverse doing out there tonight... after just a few shifts you could tell he was out of it. The only alternatives on the Left side were Dykhuis (who can't play all game long - and is proof reclamation projects can work) along with smurf-boy Bouillon. And Markov is the press box. Where's Hainsey ?
