Well JL, I am not sure we can accept a simple apology written over the internet as sufficient proof of your repentance. You, my friend have committed a grievous sin of hockeydom. You are not a believer. And believer you must be. After all, if we do not, who will? Leaf fans? Dem Yanks? Good God! This d@mnable offense must be paid with an act that will imprint your addled mind for a lifetime. Said act must include a public display of your sinful thoughts. Only then we will consider your grievous thoughts to be erased and your soul cleansed. Therefore, we expect to see you carrying a sign on Yonge Street or any other Avenue where within a LARGE number of patriotic and believing Canadians can witness your sin and hope, upon lost hope, to forgive you for it. Then, the slate will be wiped clean. P.S. We need pictures.

Let he who is without sin....
Our team gave us good reason to doubt them after the Sweden game. And perhaps in anger we might have made a rash statement. Even those of us who felt we would get better, still had nagging doubts. Even now after the gold, I'm fairly sure our goaltending could have been better. It was good enough, but not our best. I could go on, picking at one weakness or another, but why? We were better when it counted and we were getting better. I said after the Czech game that I'd like to play everyone, one more time. We would have walked through them all. The Finland game was the last time someone might have caught us before we bloomed. After that, lights out.
Sure wish Fleury had scored on that one rush against the US. I would have liked a true highlight reel goal and that would have been it.
