I was away visiting family, 6 hours away, so watched the game and left to come home. Driving for 6 hours is not conducive to celebrating. Was so calm coming home though...no tenseness, no fuming at other drivers...of which there were rather few, strangely enough. Will simply enjoy the moment for now, but later this week, we have to dissect the tourney, and see where it went wrong and where it went right enough. The boys (and girls) were great. What a weekend! The short track guys ruled, and our hockey teams screamed to the world that we're the best.

The part I really liked was when the Canadian fans at the E center started signing 'Oh Canada' after we scored the 5th goal...man,what I would have given to be there....
