Iggy and Turek to Rangers

Eric Francis reports that the only offer that makes sense for the Flames right now involves the Rangers (damn it).

it would go something like this:

Turek & Iggy

for

Lundmark, Blackburn and another player (possilby Dvorak)

Francis says that the only way they will deal Iggy is with the "Albatross" Turek attached.

Flames should do it ASAP...they saves tons of $$, get a goalie that will be great for years, an excellent young forward with tons of upside and a mid 20ish forward who is coming off a torn ACL and is struggling but can turn it around because he is still young.

whatever good Iggy brings will be almost eliminated by adding Turek.

I agree with you...a couple of years ago it would have been easy to say the the Rangers should jump on this...but now, Turek is a ball and chain for the Flames.

The Rangers have the cash to buy him out if he becomes a nuissance to them...the Flames probably couldn't.

This being said, the Rangers are still idiots! ;D
