...as in Team Canada stinks tonight.
The boys had better adapt to this ice surface by the time they've played their 3 games or they ain't comin' home with no medals. It's not JUSt Cujo stinkin' up the joint.

I think someone should take the time to introduce the Canadian defence corps to Mr. Joseph. And maybe get Gretz out on the ice to teach them how to pass - because God knows not one of them can.
I think I've done more cursing at the television tonight than I have in the rest of my life. I've seen better defensive play in the AHL.
Bah.
At least these three don't matter

Having said what I did at the top of the thread...I have a feeling that they will in fact adjust by the time the third game rolls along. I believe that this first game, and the way in which it unfolded is a good wake-up call. I know, I know, it's not like this bunch is alien to Olympic-sized ice surfaces, but their still has to be an adjustment period.
Re-group, throw Brodeur in there, and see how she flies.
Chin up boys, this game was a warm-up.

Evert since I have been following Canadian international hockey,we always seem to come out of the gate flying. And when it counts, never win the big game.I just look at the WJC's the past few years, always win the first few games and look awesome in the process and then lose the semi final or the final.Same thing in the 1998 Olympics and the 1996 world cup.
Hopefully, the game Friday was a wake up call and we see our team get better and better as the tourney goes on.
