Team Canada's first game is today versus Sweden. It is on CBC at 6 PM Eastern.
Talk about jumping in with both feet! First game is against the tough Swedes. The next game is Sunday against Germany. I hope Joseph is hot today.

I have rocked with predictions recently...so 4-1 Canada with an empty netter by Peca.
We HAVE to shut down Sundin,Alfredsson and Naslund.Because aside from them,it's defensive forwards(Sundstrom,Axellson,Arvedson,Johansson,Jonnson) and unproven offensive talents(Holmstrom,Zetteberg) galore.

Boy, were we ever fooled!
Canada looked to have trouble with the rule changes, they had better get use to it. The Swedes were great in pinching their defense.
Cujo didn't play very well also. I think CuJo is a tremendously, tremendously talent goaltender but I am beginning to think he just doesn't have the mental composure to be a money goalie. He's 35 years old and never won anything at any level he played. That should be a clue
The Yanks look pretty good against the Finns. They didn't seem to have any trouble adjusting.

Hell of a difference between team Sweden and team Finland though.
