Why can't the Habs beat the Leafs?

After yet another puzzling effort by les Boys, I am left to wonder why the Habs come up so flat against the Leafs. I can't recall if we beat them last year and are so far winless against them this year. In their first meeting this season, I thought that the Habs would claim victory since they had such a great training camp and they were fresh off of a 6-4 win over the Sens. Also the fact that Saku Koivu was making his first public appearance in the Molson Centre since being diagnosed, should have made the Habs pumped up enough to finish off the Leafs. But what ended up happening was that we didn't come out as strong as we should have and if not for a late Perreault goal that tied the game up for us, we would've probably ended up with a loss.
Today after back-to-back shutouts against the Devils and the Pens, and with the Leafs coming off of a loss to the Isles, the Habs should've came out like gangbusters. But instead they played one of their worst games of the season and if not for Jose Theodore, this game would've easily ended up 6-1 Leafs.
Like every Hab fan, I absolutely hate losing to the Leafs. Yet the Habs keep coming out with flat efforts against the Buds.
I am very puzzled by this. Do any of you guys have an answer as to why.
After today's game I was left scratching my head as to some of the decisions Therrien made. Robidas and Juneau at the points on the PP??? I was almost pulling my hair out. I think it's time the Habs went out and got a real NHL coach.
