The Habs took an early lead on a garbage goal. Hey, you take all you can get against Marty.
Then they play a very impressive, close to perfect road game for 2 plus periods in New Jersey of all places.
As a fan I love the 2 points, and the way they stuck to a system all night. They completely stifled the Devils, and just wouldn't crack. The only negative is it was a booooooooooring game. God help those Devils' fans that sat through seasons of this type of hockey.
Oh well, it was nice to beat them at the game they created. We've just gotta find a happy medium between tonight's game and the shootout in Florida.
For those not watching the American feed, Chico Resch (sp.??) was drooling over Theo all night. Nice to hear from a former goalie.
BTW...just so I have this straight, Theodore is pronounced "Tay-o-dore" correct?

And I'm happy to finally see people pay attention to the guy, he's been getting a lot more press thanks to his all-star nomination, maybe he'll start to get some respect at last !

THEODORE From the Greek name Theodoros, which meant "gift of god" from Greek theos "god" and doron "gift". Is he the new Saint of the Habs? BTW, those damn Greeks where and are everywhere, even on Hab's hockey boards. ;D ;D the-o-door "the" as in thermometer Theodore Roosavelt is famous person with that name.

So if I have this straight, you guys disagree on the pronunciation right? Well, we need a tie-breaker here kids, next one wins... It just depends if you want to sound like an anglo saying an anglo name, or like an anglo trying to say a franco name. Tay-o-dore makes it sound like you're trying to say Théodore - the French name. The-o-dore makes it sound like you're saying Theodore - as you would if he were an American. It's really just a matter of linguistic preference...
