One minute and thirty seconds left in the game, no time-outs, and an offence that hadn't moved the ball significantly in 3 quarters. Why??? How could this happen??? Once again my world doesn't make any sense.

Clearly you were rooting for the Rams. Not to digress too much from hockey, but the Pats deserved to win that game. Period. Despite racking up lots of yardage, STL was never in synch, Warner was harrassed all night, and the turnovers killed them. I was glad NE went for it on the last drive, because they may never have touched the ball in OT. It is one big party in Boston today.

Oh, no doubt. The Pats came in heavy underdogs and did everything they had to do to win. Marshall Faulk never got untracked, and with Warner's thumb hurting he couldn't go deep and the Rams recievers were getting all beaten up over the middle. Even though I have been a die-hard Rams fan for over 20 years now, I can say in all honesty that yesterday, the better team won.
I still hate the world though.

BC, the Rams never had a chance. Neither did any other team the Patriots faced. Not because the Patriots are so good (they'll probably miss the playoffs next year). There was some aura, some force in the universe that chose the Patriots for champions this year. Just ask the Raiders.
I was hoping for both the Raiders and Rams. Could it be that Patriots comes before either alphabetically?

Sorry, BC, but I've been a Pats fan for 20 years as well and they deserved this one. The Rams just won one and they'll be back for sure.
