I heard on the radio today this beauty: Doug Weight for Hackett,Markov and Souray. Yes,the Blues who are contending for a cup,would deal their #1 center for a broken down goalie,a young d-man who wouldn't even QB their PP and a 6th d-man  . I swear,that is the rumor. |

I've heard this rumour as well. I don't think it's any secret that the Blues have been disappointed in Weight so far this season. I couldn't see Hackett hurting them either. The problem is the Blues would be left with Demitra as their only proven scorer down the middle. Weight goes nowhere if they can't replace him. The Blues are thinking Lord Stanley now, not later.
