John Leclair! I wish someone would have made Serge Savard watch the tape of games number 2,3 and 4 before he made the Leclair and Desjardins for Recchi deal....  They are the reasons(aside from St Patrick) we won the cup. |

Remember Desjardins' hat trick? Awesome! The team gave me heart problems, winning in OT all the time. Muller for the Conn Smythe? Sorry, DD, Roy in a walk for that one. Who can forget "the wink"? I'm sure Tomas Sandstrom still sees it in his nightmares. |

I was only 7 at the time,so I didn't see the first 5 games live.But man,I have the tape recaping the playoffs that year and that hat trick was thrilling.It changed the series.Who can forget Demers calling the illegal stick on McSorley! |

According to the Internet Hockey Database, he is in Germany, playing for the Krefeld Penguins of the Deutsche Eishockey League. He is joined by ex-NHLers Eric Fichaud, Darryl Shannon, John Gruden, Phil von Stefenelli and Jeff Christian, if I read their website right.
