The city of Montreal has definitely captured my heart.
I was in Montreal this past weekend with a group of friends, and I have already begun planning my next trip to the city.
I saw my first two Habs home games and it was an amazing experience. Montreal loves the Habs so much, and the building was electric for both games. My faith in Montreal hockey is completely renewed after this weekend. My boss (from Montreal) asked me a few weeks ago if the Habs could ever leave Montreal, and I said that could easily happen with the current economic climate in Canada. After this trip I say the Habs will be in Montreal forever. There is no way this team could ever leave Montreal, I think the entire city would just collapse.
Thank you Montreal for one of the best weekends of my life, I can't wait to come back. I loved seeing the Habs, but a weekend with just sight-seeing around the city will be really great in the Summer.

Glad you had a great time in Montreal! And you're right about this team not leaving the city, they're here to stay, even with our current economy. The NHL without ONE team in the province of Quebec? Yeah right! Now go say that your boss! And if you felt how this city loves hockey during the middle of the season, imagine what its like during the playoffs! And if you come back this summer I suggest you do it during the Jazz Fest ( www.montrealjazzfestival.com), you shouldn't be dissapointed! 8) And in a few years you can come at the beginning of June for some Stanley Cup action!

Hey Marc,
I'm glad that Briere is doing so well in Phoenix...I really like that team (not so much now that they have Savage). It still does pain me a little that we could have had him for nothing, but right now I think we're looking pretty good with what we've got upfront. Besides, I'm sure he would have sprained, strained, or broken something upon arrival in the Molson Centre.

Yeah,it would have been typical Habs bad luck As for the Yotes,I also like their team.I love teams that are strong down the middle. They are certainly strong for now and the future with Kolanos,Langkow,Handzus and Briere.Add good wingers like Doan,Nagy,Lemieux,Wilson and Savage, along with a great goalie and a solid defence. It's obvious Gretz knows what he is doing.
