Will miss at least the next two to three weeks.
Fortunately the All Star break and the Olympic break are coming up, so Brisebois will probably only miss 5 games.
Funny how our perception of Brisebois has changed this year compared to last, eh?

Ouch. We desperatly need him on our PP. He is extremely underrated as a Quarterback and we will definatly need him down the stretch if we want to make the playoffs. Thank god he will only miss roughly 5 games but he has already missed at least that much since the injury first occured.

Good of them to finally diagnose it.
Thank goodness Markov has stepped up the way he has over the last few weeks.

I'm not doctor but shouldn't a fractured ankle be more than a 5 game break? no pun intended.

Are you kidding me??? how can a broken ankle take 2-3 weeks how could our doctors totally miss the break the 1st time?? Funny, last night when I heard he wasn't at the blood clinic, and he was at the hospital getting checked out,I knew something like this would happen.

Brisebois has also been playing well overall, not just on the PP, despite the odd mistake. Last time I checked I think that he was +3. As for Robidas and Juneau on the PP, the habs had 2 PP goals vs the Sharks (with Rivet-Markov, Rivet-Juneau), then back to Fla for another 2 PP goals (Robidas-Rivet, Markov-Boillon with Markov scoring), and finally vs the Caps on the 16th where it was Markov-Brisebois for 1 PP goal. Brisebois got hurt early in the following game vs Carolina so he's effectively been out 6 games. In the 5 games leading up to the Sharks the Habs were 2 for 21 on the PP so obviously Therrien is searching for any comination that might work and being 2-4 vs the Sharks I'd guess that we'll see at least Juneau out there again. By the way it doesn't appear on the surface of it that, assuming he has been playing regularly on the PP, Markov has been very effective as a PP QB. Something to think about.

Who cares? We won't miss Breezer in the least. After all, he must be minus what....18 by now.
Uh, whatta mean this is 2002? It is? Wrong year? Rats, just when I was getting wound up.
We shall miss him a fair bit. Funny, I think his best plays have been made on the defensive end this year. He has deflected very many passes that might have ended up goals otherwise. I have to admit to being one of his most vicious...well, perhaps harshest, mmmm, how about slightly annoyed, critics last year. And I shall give him his due this year....Habs best defenseman by a long shot. Tough break on the ankle (CO, where's your gnashing of teeth face to paste in here?).
Leaf Rat...err....Leaf Fan

Sorry, buds. I didn't look down the board before I posted the same stuff.
Yes, Brisebois is playing like the veteran defenseman he is. Funny how attitudes change when there isn't every Tom, Dick and Gaston watching for your every mistake. Makes a big difference. Cheers.

But Juneau on the point changed nothing in Sunday's game. The 1st goal was a great pass by Zednik and the 2nd goal was on the rush.Juneau had nothing to do with those goals.I just think it's ridiculous that Markov gets snubbed(Therrien said yesterday that young guys like Robidas and Bouillon have kept the team afloat...what about Markov?) at what he is best at.Markov IS an offensive d-man,he should be on the PP and no way should Robidas or Juneau be taking his place.
