Been quite a convoluted journey to get in here, but thankfully Spiro did find a password for me today and so, I had to at least pop by and say howdy. Nice to see Sammy...er, um....Andre...pull the lever and get a bona fide scorer for "Mr Coulda, Woulda, If-Only.....30 goals in my dreams, Savage".Andre is methodically, like a prudent, rational man, making this team better and better. We need toughness up front, but that will come in time.I have refrained from most Hab boards this season as, well, this is a 3 yr trip we're on to get us back to being a top 8 team, and so, carping from day to day does little and makes the wait unbearable.Chin up all you Hab fans, it getting better as each day passes...

Good to see you back ol' boy. Any Jacques Lemaire stories you'd like to share with us?
I have to admit, Andre Savard certainly has a plan in place. I think the biggest parts of it are making wise trades and well informed drafting. How long has it been since we've seen that?
I like the Berezin trade, if for no other reason than to delay Savage's eventual departure to Toronto. From there, he's only a 4-hour drive north from where he grew up in Sudbury. You know the scenario; "... I'm fulfilling a life long dream ... " yadda, yadda, yadda.
Anyway, hope to see you around dd. Take care. Cheers.

Hey now that's a sight for sore eyes. Welcome back. Agree with your world view, from what I can gather. The Habs are moving steadily toward a forward position from which an offensive on the top 4 in the East will be at least be conceivable. Next summer, or the summer after that, a single free agent will push us over the hill and into the breach. Should be fun to watch.
Do not be a stranger, strange though you are....
