This was just reported on tv. I will enter links as I find them. Finally. Is this guy the next "Big Bird" or is he another Wilkie. Stay tuned folks. I saw it on the Score.I can't wait to see Ron play against the B's on Wednesday.I believe we called him up because we have only 6 healthy 'd' and Traverse suffered a setback today,he is still experiencing headaches. Ron can make a crowded blueline situation even more crowded. PS,does anyone else think they waited this long to call him up so he can play against his favorite team(when he was a kid) the B's??? isn't Ron from that area?

from the rds web site -
...the habs came close to calling up young d-man ron hainsey from the citadelles, but decided to let bouillon play a 10th game today. now if the canadiens want to return bouillon to québec he must be placed on waivers, and the way he's been playing lately there's a strong chance of him being claimed... That can't be possible, the Score had it on their ticker,it was on TSN,etc.I sure hope we did call-up Hainsey.

I read that Savard wanted to send Bouillon down because if he plays his 10th game then he would be subject to a waiver claim from another team if the Habs try and send him to the AHL in the future. I believe that Therrien convinced Savard to change his mind, and that it was the right decision. The USA Today transaction line picked up the Hainsey callup before Savard could retrace it, so that's why some of the media think this move happened. As much as I'd love to see Hainsey play in the pros, I think Bouillon has played well enough to earn a place to stay. If anything I would rather see Robidas sent down to the minors, and I predict that it will happen if Travers, Brisebois and Souray are return healthy .

Habscout resumed the situation perfectly.I wanted to see what Ron could do while we still had some injuries I agree Bouillon deserves to stay and Robidas should go back to Quebec. But I really feel the french media is grossly overating Bouillion,he is a solid 6th,7th d-man.To call him an important part of the Habs future is non-sense,he is already 27 years old.
