Just read an article on another suggesting that Carbonneau may be interested in the coaching job in Dallas. Of course, it's only the media stirring things up to sell newspapers/stories...
In the article, it did say that Carbo would be interested in becoming a coach in the NHL, but that he did not yet feel ready to become Head Coach.
Therrien was also saying that he feels that Carbo will one day be an NHL Head Coach...
Thoughts anyone?

Bravo to Guy for having the courage to admit he's not ready for prime-time. Unlike a few ex-employees of the Habs, who shall go un-named, Guy is responsible enough to admit that accepting a position that he's not yet qualified for would be detrimental to both he and an organization. This speaks volumes for the man.

I seriously doubt that Dallas will want anybody other then a very experienced coach to handle their bib wearing millionaires.
Unlike many others, I do not see "head coach" written all over Carbo. The usuall route of coaching, is a few years in the minor leagues, then the big show. Carbo has gone around this by his "Hab's" connection. He is like many other ex-players who get their chances because of their "connection" to the team.
It takes years of experience to become a real good coach. Sure there are exceptions, but coaches like Lemaire spend time learning that aspect of hockey. On the other hand, you could always walk up to the press booth and pick a coach'potato. Just ask Foule.

I vote for a Carbo for Gainey trade! Gainey can coach, GM or run for Mayor of Montreal.
