I would like to say Hi to everyone. Also, I think that the Savage/Berezin trade was a good move for Savard. He now has to concentrate on some GOOD defencemen. I'm sure he can get that 3rd rounder back from trading away guys like Robidas/Bouillon,etc. By the way if I recall, Pat Roy was 3rd round pick!

A thousand welcomes.
The story with Bouillon and Robidas is that neither of them have much value on the market. Bouillon has played very well since being called up and last year, when he was on the "right" (that is, the right) side, so did Robidas. With the logjam on the right side, I like Bouillon's chances of hanging around as #7 more than Robidas' right now.
I expect to see either Souray or Rivet packaged with either Garon or Hackett and moved at the deadline, for what I can't tell you.

Good to have you on board Habs25. As you know or don't know, Clear Observer is the administrator of the board. He runs a pretty tight ship but it's for the benefit of the community here. You'll see what I mean. Moreover, he's got a pretty good head on his shoulders too (if you like cabbage ) As far as moving Robidas and/or Bouillon: I don't know if I'd trade either one right now. Bouillon has played extremely well since his call up. I can't believe how sell this little guy uses his body. He's looked very good in the recent games I've seen. Robidas: hmmm. Well, I was once a Robidas supporter. But this guy seems to have run into the sophmore jinx or something. He was selected to play in the World's last year, which is quite the honour. But, this year he's been missing the veteran precence his old linemate, Eric Weinrich, provided for him. Granted he was 2nd on the club in hits not too long ago I believe. That aside, he's being out-muscled, out-skated, and on some nights just out-played in general. That aside though, I wouldn't give up on him too quickly. He'll be 25-years-old in early March and I'd like to see him paired with another veteran if we could. But we really don't have too many veterans remaining actually. After Weinrich left that status went to Brisebois by default actually. In fact Brisebois turns 32 on the 27th of January. Anyway, welcome to the board again. Hope to see you posting regularly. Cheers.

Welcom aboard,
Interesting you bring up Robidas since I must say I'm kind of surprised that HABS dealt with Pheonix and Robidas didn't get moved as well. He's on the bubble here this year and Gretzky was pretty high on him. Maybe we could have kept that 3rd and send Robidas instead...
