What would you think of Barnaby coming to habsland, he has said before that he would like to go to Montreal, i think he would look good on our 3rd or 4th line, give us more depth and grit, as long as he controls himself he can be a pretty decent player
He could probably be picked up fairly cheap too

Mat would for sure add some spunk and a mean streak to an otherwise rather timid team. His antics can get the opposing crazy but unfortunately can also get his own team unfocus...

I think it would be a little redundant to have Barnaby now. I think Steve Begin does the same thing as Barnaby, but fight. But I don't remember Barnaby being that great of a fighter either. I think we're OK with Begin! Just my opinion.

Begin is a great fourth-liner and he's played well so far with the CH, but he is no Bam-Bam when it comes to being a shift disturber.
I think that he would be a good addition because he would give the Habs some edge and he is not one-dimensional; he can take a regular shift and play it rough at the same time.
I don't see Gainey making a move for a player like Barnaby right now, but I wouldn't mind if he did.
