Habs beat Leafs 5-4 in OT to Sweep Series
Classic. Our last post-season game against the Leafs, April 22, 1979.
Tiger Williams takes a high-sticking penalty on Larry Robinson early in OT. With the Leafs facing elimination, Myers has the guts to call it.
Robinson wins it with a blast from the point. And on we go to that 7-game series vs. Boston (another OT winner)....and the Cup win over the Rangers.
Leafs have Paul Harrison in goal. Wonder what happened to Palmateer.....
Tiger Williams is absolutely furious afterwards....in the midst of celebrating, Robinson comes over to calm him down. Hilarious.

I was attending Ryerson in Toronto at that time, and was living 3 blocks from Maple Leaf Gardens....good times.
