Didn't know where to start this thread so I thought this place would be as good as any.
I have 15 Habs team photos on my basement wall right now. I just put another one up last night. It's of the 61/62 Hull/Ottawa Canadiens. Some of the lads in that picture:
Bill Masterton, Jacques Laperriere, Terry Harper, Jim Roberts, Claude Larose, Keith McCreary, Barclay Plager, Dallas Smith, Cesare Maniago, Scotty Bowman, Sam Pollock, and Brian Smith.
I'm typing this out from work so I opened hockeydb.com to remember some of the names.
Note Brian Smith at the bottom. He made it to the NHL with the Minnesota North Stars and the LA Kings. However, his legacy is in Ottawa at the CJOH studios. For years Brian was one of the sprots anchors for CJOH Ottawa before he was gunned down as he walked to his car outside the studio in 1995.
I've got a lot of other pictures up on the walls of my rec room including the last two Cup winners of '86 and '93. I also had a chance to buy an Export A calendar of the Montreal Jr. Canadiens that had Houle, Tardif, Martin, Perreault, Lalonde, Geuvermont and quite a few more. But, it was at an auction and I wasn't going to write a blank check.
I collect a lot of Habs stuff. Stamps, player photos (every year since the mid-80's) and all of the team photos I can find. I was collecting hockey cards for years, then went to only Montreal players, then I stopped altogether. Nowadays it has to be a pretty good deal for me to buy a card.
Anyone else?
Cheers.

I have quite a collection as well Dis but the sad thing that I realized of late with the exception of Koivu not one current Hab is wall worthy. The last Hab of note is Patrick Roy,my basement is but a Hab museum. And the sad thing is it looks like it will stay that way for a long time. HFTO

I have some 8" x 10" HHOF shots of Beliveau and the Rocket, HFTO. The photo of the Rocket is autographed to me personally. My niece and nephews got it for me one year when Maurice went to Ottawa. They were in awe of the man my sister said.
"You make sure your uncle Rick gets this."
"Yes Mr. Richard."

DISPLAY CASEThe following 3 items were signed by Maurice Richard in Kitchener in January, 1992. I took my son (then 9) to meet him. I was speechless. 1. 1960s Habs' sweater (white tie-up collar, older crest added later) 2. Habs' corduroy hat 3. 8X10 of the Rocket A #9 flag given out to everyone who attended a game in February 1999 at the Molson Centre (before Bell). I was driving by Montreal that afternoon, and thought I'd go see if there was a ticket. There was. Richard was presented with the trophy in his name that night. Another great ovation. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PICTURES The 1970-71 Cup team. My favourite. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CANADIENS VS. ALL-STARS (late 1950s games from Eagle Toys) During the Habs 5-cup run, Eagle decided to make games to commemorate/capitalize on that success. Back then, the All-Star game was played before the regular season pitting the Cup champs against a team of all-stars chosen from the other 5 clubs. The following two items are hanging on the wall....interesting wall art (for a Habs' fan). 1. "Hockey Shoot: Canadiens vs. All-Stars" Tin Target game. Don' t have the plastic gun or rubber-tipped darts. 2. "Canadiens vs. All-Stars" table-top hockey game. Pennants of 6 teams along the outside of the side boards. "Pro Hockey" model. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'll post pictures of everything, if I can figure out how to do it.

Sounds like an awesome collection, CH. Once I figure it out I'll try to post some photos as well.
Cheers.
