Everyone's talking about how we need size down the middle. How about Chris Gratton from phoenix. He's 6-4 and 225 lbs. TSN
says "He Has a great combination of size and shooting ability. Displays good hands and a mean streak. Is solid on face-offs and sound defensively." so if we do trade Perrault. Gratton could step in as our no.2 center. I don't know what we would have to give up but I wouldn't mind the Habs taking a look at Gratton. What does everyone else think?

Gratton hasn't seemed to live up to his draft hype. He was traded for Briere last year so it doesn't look like he'll come cheap if in fact he is available, but he's definitely a guy that I would love to see in a Habs jersey.

Well Sponge Bob Square Pants ( ;D), I've mentioned his name in a number of threads over the last few weeks. In particular, the thread about Perreault. I think he has a lot the attributes we need. Size, a modicum of skill, decent speed, grit, and his salary isn't inflated. I think that Perreault and a mid card dman could land him. Does anyone know how much longer Chris is under contract for?

Does anyone know how much longer Chris is under contract for? I believe he is under contract for this year. According to tsn, phoenix signed him to a one year deal in august.
