Gainey and Barnett are currently talking


Gainey's interests are on Chris Gratton...on the other hand Barnett is asking for both Koivu and Rivet.

He has no source, but interesting to discuss nonetheless.

Obviously we aren't trading Koivu and Rivet for Gratton. But maybe something around Gratton and Rivet.

Even though there is no source I found it interesting because there was some talk on this board of getting Gratton. At least wishing we could.

I don't see Phoenix wanting Rivet. They already have Mara-Vaananen-Tanabe-Ference-Suchy-Hulse on their defence along with some decent kids like Spiller and Knyazev in the system.
