As blny says... perhaps look no further than having a former 4th line goon as PP coach. I don't know if he held the same responsibility for the Rangers, Lightning, and Islanders. So true. Someone has to coach the grinding on this grinding team though When it comes down to it....the head coach is responsible for the PP. I'm sure it's a collaborative effort. Even if it's delegated, the head coach has to step-in when it sucks.

And his suit looks pretty spiffy. Maybe we can hire Babcock in the offseason and let MT provide french language translation for his salary Lol.

He coaches the same as MT. Actually that's not true. Babcock would get away with it. It would be the same, but most wouldn't notice.

We could really use a bounce our way.

Eller is so snakebit.i feel bad for him He needs to relax more than anything else. In my game (soccer), the best goal scorers tend to pass the ball into the net rather than shoot it in. YOu re more relaxed when you pass the ball than when you shoot it, so it hits the net more often.

NOW...Therrien puts Galchenyuk on the RW with DD and Max.
Too "little" too late.

I think juggling Galchy up to the first line is a good idea. Gallagher's had a poor game and seems a step behind all the time.
I just love how the Ducks come out. If we take away the boards, they have a guy in the centre to take an easy pass and out they come. WE could learn from that.

Man, the Ducks come out of their zone easily.
Maybe it's because we dump and can't retrieve.

I thought Sekac scored that second goal...but it was an assist.

Great shift by Galchy. Swear he was hooked at the end or hemight have been able to swing the puck around Gibson.
Petry and Gilbert are playing well, despite Gilbert being on his wrong side.

Bad timing for the deadline deals.
California always gives us trouble.
But we get a late PP.
Does MT make it a 6-on-4?
yes he does.

DD loses the draw, 3-0. Is Therrien crazy? He keeps doing the same thing and we get the same result.
It was nice talking with all you guys tonight. Made a tough game much easier to watch. Thank! And Galchy breaks the California goose egg.

DD loses the draw (or we can't control it) and down the ice it goes into the empty net.
Galchy breaks the goose-egg.

Desharnais loses another puck battle. Why are we playing this guy? Heart and soul yes. Just wish he had more strength.

So in my mind DSP is now 0 for 3 in his games with the Habs. He has shown no better than 4th line material. Let's see how he does against his former team. Often that brings the best out of some of these guys. But I'm not holding my breath. And I will be very melancholy watching Sekac, the guy we let get away. Like i said

Just win baby and he knows how to win Like Toe Blake once said, "He hasn't won anything yet" That's referring to Therrien of course. Babcock has won a cup and a gold medal or two. And that's why I wouldn't get Badcock to coach the Habs .... From a purely historical (and probability) point of view, since 1967 only one coach has won the Cup with two different teams. Mind you, he won it with three different teams (Montreal, Pittsburgh, Detroit) , but looking at it this way Therrien has a more likely chance of getting a Cup with Montreal.
