If they have room for Andrei Kostitsyn, I'd hope they'd have room for Charles Hudon ... the honest effort would be there, at the very least ... the downside would be adding another small forward ... Cheers. After getting demolished by Tyler Johnson, I see how valuable an undersized forward can be. Let's hope that Hudon will be the NHL's next great small forward. ... providing you don't have 4/5 of these small guys all on your team at once ... we were there at one point ... Gionta, Gallagher, Plekanec, Desharnais and Bouillon ... seen Gionta literally bounce off bigger players ... Plekanec and Desharnais are sometimes dominated by bigger forwards in the playoffs ... Bouillon might have been small, but he didn't play that way ... Gallagher is a gem ... I think Hudon could play in Montreal, but it will help him a lot more if he were to play on a bigger Habs team ... Cheers.

Not sure Hudon has the wheels of Johnson, but at this point skill and speed can indeed kill. Andrei K can stay in Siberia for all I care. Charles has a very high hockey IQ. He's a very smart two way player with skill. Speed wise, no worse than Desharnais, but not a rocket.

That's why he won't be a Johnson, doesn't have the breakneck speed. edit: did the research and Hudon has only broke 30 goals once including jrs. Whereas Johnson has consistently been a 30+ goal scorer at every level, including 53 in 71 games in WHL and 37 in 62 games second year in the AHL. Hudon may be more like a DD than a TJ unfortunately.
