"Are you telling me I'll be able to dodge bullets?" "No Neo. I'm telling you you won't have to." ah, but can he bend bullets?

If someone can explain to me, how to insert a gif in here it would be appreciated. So much for trying to get Keanu Reaves dodging a bullet. Can't get him to move. I edited your post above, trying to explain it…but it's better in a separate post… Find the gif file on-line; Open the file in a new window (usually a right mouse click on the picture gives you the "Open image in a new window" option); URL in the new window should say "gif" at the end; Copy the URL; Open the IMAGE option on our toolbar; Paste the URL into the field; Done. Gotcha. The "Open image in a new window" was the option I didn't try, thinking it was just a new browser window. Thanks.

Cleared. Hope he likes cod cheeks!! When does the penny drop for this guy that he is no longer a commodity. Not only did he sign for peanuts in the summer, not one gm was prepared to take a chance at a reduced rate today. Does he have no shame? Either pick up your game or go home!

Twitter speculation that he might seek a KHL deal.

That deal would render the Habs' contract null and void for the duration, correct?

Well, he's still getting paid by Carolina so he'd probably be able to coast the ice when he wants to over there ... removing him from the lineup brings his cap hit $150,000 ... am I reading that right ... it also opens up a roster spot for one of the young guns currently impressing in their call up ... Cheers.

Cheers. Yes and yes. However his roster spot still gets taken up by a guy on his entry level deal, so Hudon has a $725K cap hit plus the $150K from Semin. A small savings for the club ($1.1M - $875K = $225K).

I am not sure Semin needed to be pulled as soon as he was (Habs 9-1 at particular moment), but he will not be missed. However, the void on the wing in top six remains. And the club feels it more with medium-term absence of Gallagher and Price because there are not enough even strength goals in these 12-13 forwards.
