I'm with you . . . I was thrilled when the Habs grabbed Tinner, but he has been a disappointment. I'd like to blame MT for the way JT was handled, but it ain't all his fault. He'll be on the roster . . . it's up to him to make it count. And for him to tell his dad to shut his pie-hole and not make any more waves. What bothers me is that Tinordi looks worse now than he did 2 years ago. He was moving the puck better and moving himself better back then. I can only surmise that it may still be related to the concussion from last year, or that his confidence is shot. If the latter, then Therrien and Lefebvre have to shoulder some of the responsibility. I can't get that picture out of my head of Gorges giving Tinordi a suicide pass and then Therrien benching Tinordi for it after the Leafs scored. The start of the downward spiral.

Most likely saw Barberio as an AHL player anyway. I don't think there are too many teams thin enough to consider him as an everyday fixture on their NHL blue line. To that end, I expect him to clear. It's unfortunate for him, because he is a tweener.

Dave Stubbs dave_Stubbs · 22m22 minutes ago His entire career, #Habs GM Bergevin has placed character atop his list. He just seems very disappointed right now. Maybe even betrayed Yeah, Dis, doesn't sound good. Broken nose and left foot. Terrible optics for a guy who had a rep in Vancouver. Maybe we should trade him. I'd love to have a glue guy like Brandon Prust on the team. Do you think that would work? Sorry, couldn't resist. I didn't like this trade when it happened and I like it even less now.

Guess you're entitled BH. This guy seems like an moron. Probably too drunk to drive, too very young women in the truck ( one barely legal) and now the injuries. Maybe his nose is broken because he didn't have his seat belt on.

First traded for another puzzling player who gave his team fits (Cody Hodgson) and then didn't work out with his second team. The warning signs were there, but I can see Berg thinking it's worth a gamble because it improved the team's CAP and the player might have finally gotten it together. I'm sure Berg has learned something from this scenario, and who knows?, if this matter is bottom for Kassian, maybe he will change. Gotta hit bottom first, right?

From what I read, Mark Barberio performed better than Jared Tinordi ... if he didn't have to clear waivers I suspect he'd be on his way to St John's ... I guess Marc Bergevin doesn't want to lose him for nothing and I can't see him trading Tinner for nothing ... hopefully he's working on something that will free up that roster spot ... we'll see, I guess ... Cheers.

I see nothing wrong with a young guy out having fun with a couple of girls on his days off. Mind you 6am is a bit late, but we don't know where he was coming from. Probably a house party or something. At least the guy wasn't driving.

I see nothing wrong with a young guy out having fun with a couple of girls on his days off. Mind you 6am is a bit late, but we don't know where he was coming from. Probably a house party or something. At least the guy wasn't driving. Trouble just seems to find some guys, though.... For all the partying that has gone on with the Habs over the years, and we know there has been A LOT, this kind of incident is quite rare. I've read stories about Jeremy Roenick stumbling through a field in winter and knocking on some random door to make a phone call, but that stuff mostly stays off the front page. Guys like Chelios, Corson, etc. were known party guys but managed to avoid this kind of nonsense. Hey, I'm still willing to let it play out. I get what Berg was trying to do - get younger, cheaper and raise the offensive ceiling of the team without taking any big risks or contracts. On paper it was a good move and it still might turn out. But I liked what Prust brought to this team. He was a real leader and just about the only regular willing to back up his mates at any cost. Good teams have guys like Brandon Prust on the roster, and if one thing bothers me about this team it's that I don't see that kind of player on the team. Max is a good choice for captain, but he's a pretty mild mannered and not the guy you want mixing it up. We just seem a bit soft up front without Prust.
