O'Byrne? O'Byrne? My brother, you've forgotten oh so quickly who I hold dear in my heart... It's Bergeron, you ninny ;D (+34, and he belonged to the Oilers at the time) (right now he's at a -8) And Komisarek, of course (+27, right now he's at a -9) Hard to believe both of them were "very good" in the +/- at one point. And yes, I realize that junior is an entirely different game...

Trivia question:In 1979, this by then former Habs' brother recorded an EP (is that what they're called? the 45 rpm's?) for charity. Whose brother, who are his friends, and what's the song? Answer at least one and we'll move on to the next question [Why do I know this? Mr. Val is a packrat and I have the "album" in front of me.]

This isn't the answer to your question but I though it was interesting In 1979, Lafleur released an album called 'Lafleur'. The album consisted of Guy Lafleur reciting hockey instructions and singing, accompanied by disco music. www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLeMGQ1v138

He played for the Rangers in 79. ~The brothers (one a former Hab, the other with the Rangers in 79) hold the distinction of a [family] first in the NHL; it happened on November 3, 1968. *** While we're waiting for some intrepid soul to figure out the question above, here is a stats question, because you guys really seem to like stats. Mind you, so do I, as evidenced by my sig block. Keeping in mind all the guys we turfed at the end of last season, and including Guillaume Latendresse in the mix but not Patrice Brisebois and Mathieu Dandenault (for obvious reasons), match up those players to their current season's points total. I tried to do it just by name [without looking at their points first of course] and didn't do so well I will give you the points, you pick the names that go with them. No peeking Trivia question:Keeping in mind the above qualifications, who belongs to these points totals? 4 5 7 10 11 23 25 26 29 32 I had the 4 and 5 points right...

5 - Matthieu Schneider? 10- Tom Kostopolous 11-Chris Higgins 23-Robert Lang
I was going to say Chipchura for 5, but changed it because you said "turfed last year".

10 - Tom Kostopoulos 23 - Robert Lang 7 - Francis Bouillon 11 - Steve Begin Correct on the first three. We got rid of Begin at the trade deadline, IIRC, so I wasn't counting him. He's up to 12 pts this year. 5 - Matthieu Schneider? 10- Tom Kostopolous 11-Chris Higgins 23-Robert Lang I was going to say Chipchura for 5, but changed it because you said "turfed last year". Correct. Chipchura's up to 4 pts this year (and that includes the big 0 he got with us ). 4 Mike Komisarek 5 Mathieu Schneider (so when's he announcing his retirement already?) 7 Francis Bouillon 10 Tom Kostopoulos 11 Christopher Higgins 23 Robert Lang 25 Guillaume Latendresse 26 Alex Tanguay 29 Saku Koivu 32 Alexei Kovalev Actually, I'm quite impressed with Saku's numbers, I thought he'd be much lower on the scale. *** Trivia question:In 1979, this by then former Habs' brother recorded an EP (is that what they're called? the 45 rpm's?) for charity. Answer:Phil Esposito [brother of Tony, told you he played for us] and the Ranger Rockers -- John Davidson, Ron Duguay and Dave Maloney "sang" Hockey Sock Rock. On the flip side? Marcel Dionne and the Puck-Tones -- Dave Taylor and Charlie Simmer "sang" Please Forgive my Misconduct Last Night. *** Trivia question:He played in 11 All-Star games in a row. Who is he?

Trivia question:Who sacrificed one of his hockey sticks in a bid to "uncurse" himself? Josh Gorges, with the assistance of Carey Price. Cut it up and dispersed it around a road arena somewhere. Atlanta, maybe? Josh Gorges, still looking for his first goal as a Canadiens after 97 games in the CH, had one of his sticks chopped up and sacrificed, scattered by goalie Carey Price around the RBC Center this morning. The ritual was aimed at breaking the curse that has stricken the still-looking rearguard.* *Since at the top of the article it mentioned Raleigh, N.C., I'm going to assume that's where the RBC Center is *** Take a guess... Trivia question:Since we fired Carbo, how many of the 66 games played have we won in regulation? 16 My initial thought? not nearly enough. And if it 16 I'll hold to that thought. If it is 26 it still is not nearly enough. I'da said 20. Now I have to waste time checking it out [naw, I won't . . . I'll just wait for the answer to appear].
