256?
I have no idea ... I want to say Power Play Opportunities.
On a total coincidental note, we have averaged 2.56 goals per game.

Trivia question:This season, what does the number 256 signify? The number of times I've cursed out the Habs for sitting back on a lead. ;D ;D 256? I have no idea ... I want to say Power Play Opportunities. On a total coincidental note, we have averaged 2.56 goals per game. 256 is the number of man games lost to injury as of yesterday, which is one less than last year... Interesting tidbit there, mon frère, good to know. Would prefer if it was 4.56 gpg, but we don't always get what we want *** Trivia question:What does the number 99 signify this season? And it has nothing to do with Gretzky.

Trivia question:What does the number 99 signify this season? And it has nothing to do with Gretzky. The number of times Hall Gill has fallen when going after a puck The number of times MAB has given a puck away at the opposition blue line. The number of times the Habs have lost a face-off in their own end the last minute of a game. Shall I continue? [you are going to be glad when this year is finally over, aren't you, Val?]

Just curious ... where did you get this information from? Just asking cause the NHL doesn't keep the stat and I have been searching for a site that does ... It was on the CH official site, in the "Numbers Game - April 3, 2003". They had 255 on Saturday night after the game, I added one game for Spacek missing on Tuesday, and subtracted one game from last season's total. canadiens.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=523872Trivia question:What does the number 99 signify this season? Sorry, got confused there, *they* make me cry Ok, I'm away from the computer all day tomorrow and most of Saturday, so I'm going to end this season's trivia tonight. I reserve the right to act like a girl and post questions during the playoffs/off-season if I hear of anything worthy of trivia and/or if we acquire any new players before the 2010-11 season starts. I would like to thank everyone for participating, it's been a fun few months. Special thanks to mon frère for always being willing to throw out an answer and thanks to Franko as well... for being punny. ;D Oh yeah, the answer is: 99 – Length in games of the scoring drought snapped by Ryan O’Byrne who beat Ryan Miller to open the scoring. The goal was the second of O’Byrne’s three-year NHL career and first since 2007-08 (Source: page mentioned above)
