Four of the kids who received their first sniff of the bigs this season get to hang out with Kovvy, Saks and the big boys for the remainder of the playoffs. Kostitsyn, Ferland, Cote and Danis all get the call up now that the Dogs have been put down to rest. Nice choices by Gainey as all had decent NHL debuts (Kosty first NHL on first shot, Ferland first NHL goal in first game, Danis had a Shutout in first NHL start, and Cote looked solid in all his starts and was first drafted by the Leafs...hehehehe).

If Claude Julien isn't offered a head coaching job in the NHL for next season would you offer him the head coaching position in Hamilton?

I hope Lever is gone, perhaps Wilson the assistant coach will take over. Perhaps there is something up with Francour (sp?) who joined the dogs later in the season as an assistant coach. |
