I like the idea of some stability with the backup. Better than going year to year IMO. Would of been ok with McElhenney for 2 seasons.

I like the idea of some stability with the backup. Better than going year to year IMO. Likely want to wait and see what they have with Primeau. Maybe he blows them away in Laval. Worse case, Kincaid is 29. No reason he couldn't re-sign if things go well. |

Crazy money for a goalie. Who does that? Marty Biron was arguing the negative side of this earlier. Saying that a $5 million goalie isn't half the player. On a single year sample? Maybe. Guys like Jones and Murray have shown they can have flashes. Both have crashed too. To get that guy that is there for you basically every year, costs you a lot more. |

Interesting to switch between networks. TSN is all positive about Spezza to Toronto. But Sportsnet , particularly Kypreos & Burke. They panned the move, basically saying what's the point?
