I'll say! Always love analyzing photos, particularly historic ones. Three that jump out at me here all relating to Mr Dryden: 1) didn't realize he wore a skeletal mask at Cornell; 2) perhaps I haven't been watching but I think you'd be hard pressed to find a team photo where the goalie is in the middle of the middle row; and 3) the Cornell team photo has Kenny's back up holding his stick in the wrong hand - I presume to provide some symmetry. Thanks very much, fellas, and you're very welcome ... there is a team photo where Ken Dryden is in the centre of the front row, but it's protected in a way that prevents me from linking to it from here ... I remember using that photo in a GDT a few years ago, so maybe it's still good ... I'll see if I can find it when I have some extra time ...

I have never liked Chiarot probably because I question his decisions. Habs win a draw after taking a penalty. Bruins actually peel off instead of attacking. Puck goes in the corner. Chiarot gets it with time to turn and ice it. He has no awareness of what’s around him, backhands it around the net to Savard who’s not expecting it. Savard panics, swings the puck along the same path but partially fans on it and the Bruins, who had totally messed up, end up with possession in the Habs Zone. These are the vets on the team.
Too bad PK’s not with us. The Marchand eraser.

I am not sure what Hoffman and Niku were doing on the first Boston goal. And that second Bruins' goal had a good amount of luck involved. The third goal just looks like general dejection and insufficient compete level.
Allen is hurt? What a season...

Does it matter? Not much of anything matters this year except giving the kids opportunities. We’ll get to see Montembeault and Caufield and Mcniven. Who’ll stand out?

Is Edmunston ever going to play this season? Edmunston? What about Price? This is 2016 all over again. He had knee surgery on July 22, 2021. We were told he might miss the start of the season. But everyone was expecting him some time in October to play, before he went into the Assistance Program. He came out of the Assistance Program at the end of October. They said he had to get his mental health straightened out before they'd bring him back. Here we are in January, AND NOW they are blaming his kneee surgery for him not being ready. They constantly lie and mislead when it comes to Price. From his injury in the Olympics he played through, to his chronic fatigue (yeah, I'm not convinced on that still), to his multiple knee issues, to the circus this year (from requesting to be unprotected, to sitting out, to now) |

Pezzetta has the Bruins off their game. Not impressed with Boston. Depth is suspect and they don’t have the swagger generator, Chara. No one has really gone after Pezzetta.
