In my search for a free stream....I found this Habs-related item from the Sept. 6 Gazette. Apologies if it's already been posted in another thread. Michel Therrien and Joël Bouchard both have new jobs, but not as hockey coaches.
TVA Sports announced Tuesday that Therrien and Bouchard will join the network’s Saturday night coverage of the Canadiens and the NHL and will do intermission segments.Bouchard was fired after one season as the AHL San Diego Gulls' head coach. 28-33-7. Therrien proved with his idiotic off season comments that he is not worth listening to. I guess the standards at TVA are pretty low. |

Nice bar down snipe by Caufield. Anderson did the dirty work blowing up Reilly and the sweet counter materialized.
Hate to see a fourth liner taking an unnecessary penalty. Pitlick better get smarter or he will not be an automatic fixture in the lineup.

Davard seems overmatched no matter who he’s up against. I forgot to mention another guy who looks to just be taking up a roster spot…Rem Pitlick.

The Leaf just made a bad pass under normal pressure. I’ll give him credit when he earns it. |

I agree. It will take time to weed them all out. Last Leaf goal. Anderson was free on the left, can’t control the Caufield (?) pass and the puck comes back and Leafs score. Im sure there were other coverage errors on that goal but we should have been in their end, cycling. Anderson may just have more value than any of our other slugs.

Sigh, Anderson. Last year i watched Weber carefully and if he touched the puck and there was pressure, I swear the puck turned over 90% of the time. Tonight, and much of last year, same thing with Anderson. Leafs seem to gain possession if the puck is touched by him.

Really impressive that we are winning the faceoff battle with the Laffs tonight. More of that please. Noticed Dach hasn't been taking any but have to think Marty made it a point of emphasis during training camp.
