Right now, all i care is that we lose 7-6. I want all the special ones to have lots of points so they are worth more.

So does Drouin get pumped for these games to prove to TB that they made a mistake when they traded him?

Caufield - Suzuki - Anderson Slafkovsky - Dach - Drouin Hoffman - Dvorak - Armia Pezzetta - Evans - Pitlick Matheson - Harris Edmundson - Guhle Xhekaj - Kovacevic Somehow Drouin comes out of the last 2 games with a promotion to the second line. At some point they have to come to terms that he brings nothing and will get nothing at the trade deadline.

Allen let's in the 1st shot - again. I was going to mention that. Is there any team that lets in the first shot more often. Last year, it was Monty.

Xhejak has to defend himself for a decent hit. Pat Maroon lives up to his name & loses the fight.

(Washington vs Chicago I think) and they said Chicago has given up the most goals on the first shot (6) * I believe that was the game and team*

I hate these guys who go to games in opposition jerseys and then stand and do the slow clap after a goal.

Nothing worse than Montreal giving up the chance to shoot. Evans makes a good move at the line, could have shot, but nope , makes a bad pass ... goes the other way, and Tampa is not afraid to shoot with traffic and they shoot a garbage goal.
It's taught in pee wee. You have a chance with someone going to the net you shoot, you don't start to think you are Gretzky and can make passes to invisible players

Harris watching the puck more than the man. That defensive awareness and communication in our end is a real problem. On the first goal, Hagel was well past his backchecking winger Caufield. Yet, Guhle pushed up to close the gap on (?) someone. That left a huge hole. The inexperience is finally catching up to us.

You would think a guy with no goals would shoot at every opportunity.

Drouin can't bury a close in chance. If he wants to stay in the lineup he has to score on plays like that.

The boys actually had a lot of pace and chances. But they could not get it done. So once again Montreal is chasing a game, which is a deadly proposition against an elite opponent.
Harris must have thought he would have help from the high forward on the first goal. But that was sleepy miscalculation. Maroon is trying to get Tampa offer him another contract by 'stepping up' to respond to a nice hit by Xhekaj. It was a good hit and Marron never even bothered to throw (let alone land) a punch so it was just sort of silly.

So many empty seats in Montreal lately. On a Saturday night? That's just sad

Needless interfrnce penalty by Matheson. Knocks Cirelli down at the Bolts blue line but Guhle had it covered.

Evans draws blood on Point and gets 4 minutes. Bolts score on the 1st penalty. 3-0.

Their best chances this period land on the stick of Pezzetta. Came close on the first chance as he shoots ( imagine that) and hits the post.
