Evans hits the post but Armia scores on the rebound.
Trade him now, he won't be any hotter.

Habs broadcaster describes a Xhekaj backhander from his corner across the middle of the ice to a forward at our RW blue line as a ‘dangerous’ pass. I see the same thing where the Blues had cut off anything along the board as terrific vision and perfect transition execution. Two different viewpoints. The analyst tonight is Sam Cosentino. Hmmm. I usually like him. l like my players making a more difficult play that opens up space and time. Sometimes you do have to take the safe play, but do that too often and you’re just Suburbia, never standing out. .

Armia is such an enigma. I keep cheering for him. All too infrequently, he's demonstrated surprisingly soft hands, good vision, nice speed, board toughness. Should/could be a 3rd line offensive driver...as well as a shutdown guy. Never turned that corner. He's 29. Too late? Coincidence, I know....

Anderson robs one from Drouin
The slump continues

Anderson makes it 5-4 tapping in a shot that looked like it was going in and would have been Drouin's goal.
EdIT: did they give that to Drouin?

Drouin has gone 371 days without scoring
The goal was announced as Drouin’s , I think they’ll eventually take it away from him

His ppg totals point that out. That last goal. If Anderson leaves it alone, its Drouin’s goal as it should be. Anderson contributed nothing to it. But that’s ok this year if it convinces some less than Mensa GM to give us a 1st rounder for him.

I know the Habs give up a lot of goals but every time I see the Blues this season they are giving up a lot, 4, 5, 6 goals sometimes. Hell, the Habs have already beaten them this year 7-4.

Marty get Joel off the ice. This had more to do with getting him the hat trick.
They were out there for a one minute 57 second shift ALL because they couldn’t get the puck out of the zone. Sure Armia / Evans may be sorta kinda good defensively, but they scare the bejesus out of me protecting leads.

Pezzetta does, probably luck. Anderson, probably luck like that gift Fleury gave him a season ago.

Yeah, but it was literally millimetres from going over. There was no one near enough to clear it in time. If he could think fast enough, just protect the puck and let it cross, then smack it in. Frankly he probably did the right thing ensuring it crossed.
