Very concerned about Suze. He is playing awful. Don't know what he did over the summer but he shouldn't do it again  He is not crisp, almosrt seems lazy, and of great concern is he seems lost out there. He usually makes great decisions with the puck, but not for weeks now. He did a ton of 'captain' stuff and that suggests that perhaps season preparation took a back seat. He looked better Saturday than Wednesday and as his game shape improves, he will too. He stayed in montreal for the off season and enjoyed the environment a bit too much... lol... he'll get there |

I went looking for the pre-game ceremony this morning. To see the torch and ice on fire or something similar. This team is known for its pre-game ceremonies and doing them right. Last night's was either ad-libbed, or put together by a first grader. It was awkward and terrible in all aspects. Another thing I noticed. Why wasn't Carey Price introduced? Management wants to move on from Carey... he would have got the biggest cheer... like always... as it was LX got the biggest cheer OK. If they want to move on from him, why was he in the building? Why was he at the game? Other IR players were introduced. Just seems odd to have him there, and show him on the jumbotron, if they want to move on from him. |

Was thinking while watching the game, that Xman reminds me a lot of Sheldon Souray. Big tough, not really an enforcer but will do the job and has a booming slapshot. He had two shots up around the 100 mph...the players were saying during practice he is well over that.
Now if he can keep from breaking his hand, we'll be good!

A bit better skater than Souray and perhaps a heavier heavyweight. Now all we need is a young Markov feeding him for those one timers that everyone 'pretends' to get in the way of. |
