I forgot that Tucker played for the Habs, I remember him saying he hated the team for trading him to Tampa. It sure showed we we played against him lol.

Richer was an all time fave of mine back in the day lol the 50 goal man every other year lol i remember trying to be him when i was younger in the style i played with the heavy shot ... didn't work very well as my speed was my true strength. more of a Russ Courtnall lol #6 was my only number ever so it was meant to be.

I don't know if Matheson is playing hurt or it tired from overuse, but he's a liability out there. 3-0 ten minutes in. This one could get ugly.

I just finished watching a movie with my wife and was going to put it on the game... not tonight...
After what happened to Tampa last night, they will keep the pedal to the metal and rout the Habs...
I am fine with a rout but can someone take off Doucherov's head for me

Goaltending will solve (or create) a lot of problems and this year it seems to be choosing to be really bad. Too bad they didn't try that last year. Regardless, we still need to play well in other areas of the ice. Matheson has been bad for a few games now, suggesting he isn't healthy and yet he's allowed to suit up. It's not worth it. In fact, he's hurting us. No matter who he's paired with, that pair has awful stats, so it's not his partners. Hal Gill might be a better fit than Matheson right now. (not kidding). The kids are learning, but some of the vets are wrecking balls. Anderson, Allen and Monty, David Savard, Mathieson (if injured) are not contributing. Is it just a waiting game until Hughes gets a good enough offer for them? Oh well, if we're heading for another bottom 5 pick, it's not a bad draft year, but would be nice to get one of the top 3 picks. |

Obviously Allen was poor, but the Habs across the board are atrocious tonight. Whatever progress has been made on special teams is not showing in this one.

Well, it is not much consolation when a team is in a rough patch riding a losing streak, but at least Montembeault stood tall in his relief role and the boys kept working and did not "Shark-it" and just fold up for a 10-0 joke.
